Archetypes

As noted in the introductory pages to this site, I consider the major arcana to be archetypes. Archetypes are the “big ideas” that we absorb as part of our socialization process. Archetypes typically answer the Big Questions. Archetypes, especially when they are part of our collective understanding, control manifestation on this planet.

Currently I consider there to be two broad “sets” of archetypes. There is an old energy set of archetypes that contributes to an “old energy” BOOK, and a new energy set of archetypes that form the pages of the new energy BOOK. The old energy archetypes, which are implanted and reinforced by Agents of Socialization  are typified by the masonic tarot.  Various new energy archetypes are floating around these days as people attempt to break the chains of the old energy System.  However, the Halo/Sharp system is the only completely specified BOOK of new energy archetypes. A complete run down of old and new energy archetypes, including an in depth analysis of spiritual truths, is available in the books associated with the Halo/Sharp Tarot (i.e. The Book of the Triumph of Spirit and The Book of the Triumph of Spirit Master Key.  Both these books are available for free for Lightning Path subscribers.

You will note that in the process of manifesting the new energy Halo/Sharp tarot I have renamed a lot of the masonic keys. Thus, for example, The Fool becomes Joyful and Judgment becomes The Calling. The renaming was absolutely essential since many of the old energy names were much too suggestive of old energy ideas. Calling somebody a fool is not nice however you phrase it, and judgment is just plain wrong.

You can get a good sense of what the new energy Halo/Sharp tarot is about by browsing these keys. I will warn you up front however that a full understanding of the significance and import of the Halo/Sharp deck requires a more formal spiritual study. It is worth it though. The new energy tarot that is being introduced on this web site really is a watershed break with the old energy version. It is, even if I do say so myself,  emancipatory and empowering in a way that no other spiritual system has ever been. Tarot Archetypes

This first list is a list of tarot archetypes. Each item provides an indication of the transformation of old energy to new, and the concurrent renaming of the card. You will see from even a cursory glance that the new energy versions provide a quite different [energy] spin on things. No longer do we have to suffer being called the fool.  No longer must we kneel in supplication. Now we embrace our true nature as Joyful, Masters of creation (The Universe).

3. The High Priestess becomes Isis
4. The Empress becomes Gaia 
5. The Emperor becomes Mars 
6. The Hierophant becomes Uranus
7. The Lovers becomes Activation of your
8. Chariot

10. The Hermit becomes a Lightworker 
11. The Wheel of Injustice becomes The World working on The Great Work.
12. Justice becomes Responsibility
13. The Hanged Man is honoured for The Sacrifice
14. The Devil is revealed as Saturn and the chains are broken
15. Death is overcome by Initiation
16. Use Temperance
17. Tower becomes Power
18. The Sun becomes The Promise to remind us that
19. The Moon
20. and The Stars are ours. So
21. Let us ascend The Universe

Proper Order of the Tarot Keys

Just like the old world tarot system, the Halo/Sharp new energy tarot systems can be organized into a narrative or story that tells of the soul’s purpose and journey.  However, unlike the old world tarot system which teaches that you are a cosmic FOOL facing limitation, karma, possible JUDGMENT, and possible damnation, the message of the Halo/Sharp New Energy tarot tells the story of of your divinity and mastery. The story goes something like this.

1. Joyful (Creation is a joyful celebration)
2. The Master (And you are a master)
3. The Calling (Listen to the call)
4. Uranus (Free yourself from the authority of others)
5. Isis and Mars (Balance your energies)
6. Saturn (Take off the chains)
7. Initiation (Awaken your mind)
8. Gaia (Connect with the earth)
9. Use Temperance
10. Activation (Activate your body)
11. Chariot (Realize your potential of your Physical Unit)
12. Power (Embrace your power)
13. Strength (Take your place)
14. Responsibility (Assume responsibility)
15. Lightworker (Shine your light)
16. Sacrifice (Honor your sacrifice)
17. The Promise (Remember the covenant)
18. The World  (Complete The Work)
19. The Moon (Pass through The Gate)
20. The Universe (ascend and celebrate)
21. Star (You are a Star)*
